Community Comes Together at 3rd Annual Shred Event

1,200 Pounds of Paper Collected for Safe, Secure Disposal

On Saturday, April 19, Johnson & Burge, along with four other Long & Foster agents, hosted the annual Shred Event, and once again, our clients showed up strong! Held at the Long & Foster Oceanfront office, the event was a safe, secure, and eco-friendly opportunity for our clients and friends to dispose of sensitive documents in the Commonwealth Document Management truck.

Over the course of the day, we collected 1,200 pounds of paper — that’s more than half a ton of clutter cleared and recycled! 🌎🗃️

In addition to shred truck, Russell Wimbrough of Cutco was onsite offering professional knife sharpening! Guests brought their dull blades and left with kitchen tools good as new — just one more way the event made life a little easier (and sharper 😉).

Beyond the services offered, it was a chance to connect with clients, meet new faces, and share a few laughs (plus some coffee and donuts, of course). Events like these remind us why we’re so proud to be part of this incredible community.

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day a success!
