HRRA Committee Training.

One of our team leaders, Jeremy Caleb Johnson, will be the 2023 Chairman of the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association (HRRA). HRRA is a 5,000-member trade organization in Coastal VIrginia which advocates for private property rights and the rights of 1099 real estate workers.

Jeremy has been a member of HRRA since 2004, his first year in real estate. He’s served as the chair of HHRA’s Resale Council, HRRA’s REALTOR®/Lawyer Council, as an At-Large member of the Board of Directors, and as the Treasurer/VP of Budget & Finance. In recent years, HRRA, along with the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, has secured the right to work for REALTORS® during the Pandemic, perennially advocated for the (very important) renewal of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and worked to ensure the rights of first-time homebuyers in the real estate marketplace.

The Committee Training at meeting at HRRA headquarters on Thursday, November 17th, focused on training new Association talent. Some of our REALTOR® leaders are relatively new to the business, but some have decades of experience in the business. The HRRA committees represented at the training include Government Affairs, Budget & Finance, the Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) committee, REALTOR®/Lawyer, and YPN, to name but a few.
