According to data from Realtor.com, the #1 hottest ZIP code for buyer demand is …

no where near our Coastal Virginia marketplace. That’s sad.

But the Midwest and the Northeast reign supreme for the Realtor.com’s Top Ten Hottest ZIP Codes.

At the top of the list, Realtor.com notes Gahanna, Ohio (part of the Columbus, Ohio, metro area), as the hottest ZIP code in America for homebuyers.

Now, when Realtor.com’s list is expanded to its Top Fifty Hottest ZIP Codes in America, Virginia Beach’s very own ZIP 23454 comes in at Number 49. Not too shabby!

Here’s what housing in ZIP 23454 looks like

The 23454 ZIP code encompasses a central-eastern segment of the city, which includes the Great Neck peninsula, southward to areas around NAS Oceana, and an eastern bloc south of the Oceana and eastward to the coast at NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex.
